My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, known in Japan as My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Wrong As I Expected. (Japanese: やはり俺の青春ラブコメはまちがっている。 Hepburn: Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabu Kome wa Machigatteiru.), also known in the short forms Hamachi (はまち) and OreGairu (俺ガイル), is a Japanese light novel series written by Wataru Watari and illustrated by Ponkan8.

There are three ongoing manga adaptations and two anthology volumes. It has been adapted into an anime television series, which aired between April 4 and June 27, 2013 and was followed by second season which began airing on April 2, 2015. A video game, titled Yahari Game demo Ore no Seishun Rabu Kome wa Machigatteiru. and published by 5pb., for the PlayStation Vita was released on September 19, 2013.

The story follows two loners, the pragmatic Hachiman Hikigaya and beautiful Yukino Yukinoshita, who despite their varying personalities and ideals, offer help and advice to others as part of their school's Service Club, assisted by the cheerful and friendly Yui Yuigahama. It largely depicts various social situations faced by teens in a high school setting and the psychology driving their interactions

Synopsis

So exactly what's going to happen when Hachiman Hikigaya, an isolated high school student with no friends, no interest in making any and a belief that everyone else's supposedly great high school experiences are either delusions or outright lies, is coerced by a well meaning faculty member into joining the one member "Services Club" run by Yukino Yukinoshita, who's smart, attractive and generally considers everyone in her school to be her complete inferior?
